U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia, William A. Heidt, tries the TEST app at Development Innovations Cambodia
On October 22, 2015, World Education staff presented the TEST app to the new U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia, William A. Heidt, at Development Innovations Cambodia. The TEST app is a digitized early grade reading assessment program for use in Cambodian Grade 1 and 2 classrooms. The app saves teachers time by evaluating assessments, identifying struggling readers, and matching them with interventions. Having finished a successful trial period in 10 Cambodian primary schools, the app is now ready for nationwide scaling up!
In the future, the TEST app will allow Cambodian Ministry officials to access early grade reading data from all schools, allowing for more informed policy decisions. To learn more and hear what Cambodian educators think about the TEST app, watch this video about the project.
